Wang’s Broth, located at Huaxi Street Night Market has been awarded the Michelin Bib Gourmand for consecutive years since 2019. It’s a popular snack food restaurant that often requires you to wait in line. The must-try signature dish is “Minced Pork and Pickled Cucumber in Broth.” It features fish balls made with fresh hind leg pork, hand-kneaded and cooked to order. The soup is made with a rich bone broth infused with pickled vegetables, offering a unique twist on traditional flavors. The restaurant also serves the signature dish “Steamed Rice with ‘Black Gold’ Pork Sauce” made with a secret sauce, slow-cooked for 6-8 hours daily.

Wang’s Broth has been part of the Taipei Brand New Day program, initiated by the Taipei City Government in 2015. The program aims to revitalize Taipei’s food and beverage sector as well as its traditional industries. By providing in-depth support, the program helps businesses transform and upgrade, ultimately shaping Taipei’s urban tourism landscape.
