A Village Where Good Life and Vegan Food Is Shared

Fulong is a simple village on the Northeast Coast with enchanting sea views. Located close to Fulong Railway Station, Starry X Sky Art Vegan Village is home to lots of art installations made with waste material from the ocean. While the flair of the sea is strong, the artwork also echoes the environmental protection concept promoted by the village. It is run by a group of good friends who love the spirit of communal eating and living together. Throughout the year they provide vegan meals and various DIY experience activities. With its rich recreational resources, the Northeast Coast is a place where you can have fun in different ways all year round.

Fine-Sand Sculpture Course: NT$980
(Half Price for Second Participant)

The village mainly focuses on DIY activities using recycled material and ocean waste, such as plant dyeing, color painting of buoys, and sea glass mosaic collages. By applying the concept of waste recycling visitors can learn more about ecology and environment conservation. Since 2008 Fulong Beach has been the venue of the Fulong International Sand Sculpture Art Festival. Starry X Sky Art Vegan Village’s “Sand for Fun Art Studio” is the only sand art base in Taiwan that teaches the art of creating sand sculptures. The founder of the studio, Zhou Sheng-qiang, joined the creative team of the sand sculpture art festival in 2014 and established this studio in 2017 to offer sand sculpture courses, allowing visitors to get acquainted with this art form through a combination of environmental protection and the art of sculpting.
